Dorothy's Game (a variation on Flinch)

Dorothy's Game

This game is similar to the commercial game Flinch, but with a few extra wrinkles.

Strategy: You may deliberately not play a card if you feel it is to your advantage. If the player next to you, for example, has a five showing on the top of his stack, and the current pile has a three, you may decide not to play a four in the hopes that the player does not have a four in his hand and thus will be unable to play the five from his stack. In short, not only do you want to get rid of the cards in your stack, but you also want to prevent other players from getting rid of the cards in their stacks.
